Old patch, new grass,
so many years, this yard.

Unearthed behind the shed:
doll head, porcelain,

except for mud, bald.
I was, and then
I was.

           ​​A woman in
                      ​​​​a sad dress
​​​                 wipes her spade
​​​​                            clean.
