The End of Memory

as I prepare to die
my life flutters like radio waves
under my eyelids

so many people live only there
they will die with me

I feel selfish
to give up so much
to extinguish so many
fires

He is the winner of various fiction and poetry awards, including Boone’s Dock Press poetry chapbook contest for his “True Stories from the Future”.
